On Friday, August 7, 2009, the Lawrence Community Works hosted an outdoor celebration called "Yes We Will" to support the candidates for various community positions. As a school committee candidate, I had a wonderful opportunity to reach out to my neighbors. I've met with children of all ages, teenagers, and adults. It was a wonderful gathering, the food was excellent and the weather was on ourside. It's nice to see people showing support for one another on this exciting journey for a school committee candidate.
